The PHP scripting language provides great facilities for creating custom graphics. One use for this is to provide custom charts and graphs for displaying statistics against your website contents.

Most hosting companies, and even Google can provide statistics on visitors to your website, but what they won't do is tell you which items in your Database they have referenced, and that sort of information could be a vital marketing tool for you.
